About me

‘The best pictures are not created through technology
but through emotion.’

Welcome to my website!
I am Michael Weber, born on 27 May 1975 in Vienna. Photography has accompanied me since my youth. My first camera was an old analogue Canon, with which I began to discover the world through the viewfinder. What began as a passion developed over the years into a deep fascination for capturing emotions. As Pedro Kramreiter’s assistant, I was able to gain valuable experience and open up new perspectives in photography.

My favourite thing to photograph is people, because faces tell stories. Every picture should leave the viewer room for their own interpretation – whether it is the perception of beauty or the recognition of vulnerability. My aim is to capture authentic and candid moments that show people in their true essence.

In addition to classic portrait photography, I have specialised in fine art nude photography. My aim is to harmonise aesthetics, naturalness and expressiveness and to portray the human body artistically.

A special project close to my heart is 1000portraits (www.1000portraits.at). Here I want to photograph 1000 people – without editing, without staging, just with what is really there at that moment. In the long term, I plan to publish this project in the form of an exhibition or a book.

I invite you to discover my work and develop your own feelings about it. If you would like to get in touch with me, you can reach me by email. Please also get in touch if you are interested in buying one of my paintings.
